Marten Design takes a highly personalized approach to every project. Our passion is in creating spaces curated and tailored to each client’s personal design style, and needs. We assist in all aspects of design from start to finish including, consulting with Architects, Builders and the various trades; reviewing architectural plans, space planning, cabinet drawings, refining layouts and providing a custom approach to finishes, furnishings and decor. We also manage the process of placing and tracking client orders. We manage all of the details so you do not have to. Renovations and new home construction can be really daunting or really fun. Our goal is to handle the daunting so you can sit back and enjoy the fun. 

Furnish & decorate

Perhaps you have already built or renovated your home, but stopped short of selecting new furnishings. Or, maybe your home feels a little tired and just needs a refresh. Regardless of why you would like to purchase new furniture and decor, we can help. We will provide furniture layouts and selections that reflect your personal style in a beautiful and cohesive way.

FAQ’s

  • The cost varies based on the scope and complexity of your project. We bill using a flat fee structure for the majority of our projects, so all design fees are communicated and agreed to upfront.

  • As of late Fall 2025, we are booking new build and full renovation projects 3 months out and furnishing projects 1 month out.

  • Before engaging with a designer, we highly recommend thinking through the scope, timeline and budget for your project. It’s also helpful to begin saving inspiration photos of spaces you love. Then, when you are ready, please fill out and submit our contact form here.

  • No problem, we love smaller design projects as much the larger ones! The process for individual rooms is the same as the process outlined above, the project duration is just shorter.
